HANAHAN, S.C. — Two firefighters were injured after being struck by a fire truck Wednesday morning.
Live5News reported that the firefighters were responding to a crash on a bridge when a responding fire truck came onto the bridge and spun out.
The fire truck hit a vehicle and the firefighters on the bridge. One firefighter was run over, but did not suffer any broken bones. The other firefighter suffered an ankle injury.
Officials said both firefighters were transported to a hospital, along with two victims from the original crash scene.
