WATERVLIET, N.Y. — A firefighter and police officer are facing disciplinary action after arguing with a resident.

News10.com reported that firefighter Sgt. James Strock and Officer Michael Harrington argued with John McCumber in the parking lot of a gas station. Strock allegedly threw a cup of coffee at McCumber , but it did not hit him.

McCumber captured alleged audio of the heated argument.

“I’m two feet away. I’m two feet away, more than three. I wish you would because I’ll knock your f-in teeth apart,” Strock allegedly said.

“You’re so full of s---,” McCumber responded.

McCumber said the issues between him and the two responders began when former Officer Joshua Spratt was sentenced to six month in jail for inappropriate sexual contact with a minor he met while he was a school resource officer.

A Facebook page in support of Spratt was allegedly liked by Sgt. Strock, according to McCumber.

“The Facebook page was titled Friends of Spratt and within the first paragraph it proceeded to call the girls provocative names and derogatory names,” McCumber said.

Strock was charged with second-degree harassment and both men face disciplinary action from their department.

“I’m not happy. I think that Harrington should face charges too for harassment. He clearly threatens me in the audio tape,” McCumber said.
