PANTHERSVILLE, Ga. — A firefighter had a close call after falling through a floor during an apartment fire Thursday night.
Crews initially attempted an offensive attack on the fire, but then pulled out of the building as the fire grew. While leaving the building, one firefighter fell through a floor, reported 11Alive.
The firefighter was rescued by the DeKalb Fire Department’s rapid intervention team; the firefighter is expected to fully recover.
