WASHINGTON — A man suffered third-degree burns after setting himself on fire outside a Trump Hotel, days before the president-elect’s inauguration.
An anonymous source told the Washington Post that responders arrived to the scene and found a 45-year-old man who had used a light and accelerant.
Although there was no clear motivation, a construction worker in the area said he saw the man surrounded by flames and appeared to be saying the president-elect’s name in an angry manner.
Responders transported the man to the hospital.
