VENTNOR, N.J. — Two NJ firefighters and four others were injured when an ambulance crashed into a home Wednesday morning.
The Ventnor City Fire Department ambulance was reportedly on its way back to headquarters when a minivan hit it at an intersection, pushing both vehicles into a home, according to Shore News Today.
No one was at the residence when the crash occurred and the house seemed to sustain minor damages. Both vehicles suffered significant damage and had to be towed away.
All six people were taken to the hospital. Both firefighters have been released, one of them having been treated for lacerations and rib injuries.
The two men driving the minivan are in stable condition. The woman and teenager also in the vehicle are also still in the hospital, but it is unclear what their conditions are.
