Fire damages Ohio station, ambulances

The fire caused significant damages to two ambulances and a squad building

SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio — An Ohio squad building and two ambulances have been heavily damaged after a large fire broke out.

A neighbor heard the sound of breaking glass and explosions and alerted authorities early Tuesday morning, according to WHIOTV.

Firefighters were able to control the flames quickly, but the fire did significant damage to the squad building.

Officials say the fire is not considered suspicious at this time, but have launched an investigation into the cause.

Squad service is reportedly uninterrupted as crews are using a third ambulance that was at a different location.

No one was hurt in the fire.
