BALTIMORE — A Baltimore firefighter sustained minor burns to his face while battling a four-alarm fire at a carryout restaurant. Firefighters rescued three victims, who were taken to a local hospital.
Fire crews arrived at the scene to heavy smoke and an active fire at the base of a three-story building, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Nearly 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, and one of them sustained a minor burn to his face and was transported to the hospital.
A neighboring church building was damaged in the fire. The cause is still being determined.
