BREMERTON, Wash. — A fire in an electrical panel of a home briefly shocked two firefighters Tuesday night, according to the Bremerton Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fire Marshal Mike Six said crews were called about 5:30 p.m. to a home on the 2600 block of North Lafayette Avenue. A tree that had fallen into a power line caused a nearby electrical box at a home to ignite.

Crews attempted to put the blaze out immediately, but two firefighters suffered minor electrical shock, Six said. All personnel were removed from the home until the power was turned off.

Once power was off, crews snuffed the blaze quickly. No other injuries were reported.
