ANAWALT, W.Va. — A volunteer fire department closed Wednesday due to a lack of insurance and equipment deficiencies.
WVNStv.com reported that the Anawalt (W.Va.) Volunteer Fire Department will now get help by neighboring departments to help cover their emergency response areas.
According to officials with the fire marshal’s office, the fire department could reopen after the problems are fixed.
