ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New details have been released on how fallen firefighter Token Adams died.
KRQE reported that the 41-year-old U.S. Forest Service engine captain went missing late last month as he searched for a small lightning-caused fire in the Jemez.
His body was found near his ATV a week later. A new report from the Forest Service shows Adams was thrown from the ATV as he went over a bump, according to the report. It flipped, landed on him and killed him, according to the report.
Adams was a certified ATV operator.
