HUBBARD TWP., Ohio — Six firefighters were injured Wednesday morning after the fire truck they were riding in crashed.
WKBN reported that the Eagle Joint (Ohio) Fire District firefighters were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries from the one-vehicle accident.
Police said the rig was responding to a call when it went off the road, hit a culvert, ditch, mailbox and tree. The truck was not running its lights and sirens.
The driver of the rig is being charged with failure to maintain reasonable control.
The investigation is ongoing.
