Tractor-trailer strikes Atlanta fire truck, sending 3 FFs to hospital

ATLANTA — Three Atlanta firefighters were injured after a tractor-trailer struck their fire truck while at a car fire on I-285.

Firefighters were working in the eastbound lanes of the interstate just after 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday when the tractor-trailer crashed into the fire truck, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

Three firefighters were injured and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver of the tractor-trailer refused treatment.

The tractor-trailer driver was cited for the crash. The driver of the car that caught on fire was uninjured.
