Wis. firefighter dies of COVID-19

Dale Fire & Rescue Firefighter Raymond Samson, a 16-year veteran of the department, will be honored with a memorial service on Saturday

DALE, Wis. — Firefighter/Driver Operator Raymond Samson, 55, of Dale Fire & Rescue, died of COVID-19 on Saturday, WMTV reported.

“He was patriotic and had many American flags displayed around our home. Ray loved animals and his dogs were family,” his obituary reads.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, the fire department said.
