Calling all fire photographers: FireRescue1 wants to see your pictures! The next time you come across something inspiring, take out the camera and submit it to FireRescue1! Just remember to include your name, agency information and brief background information on the picture.

This week’s Photo of the Week comes to us from the Mesa (Arizona) Fire and Medical Department after Mesa Firefighter Lee Ranney rescued two young javelina that fell into a storm drain gate. Here, Ranney and Captain Cody Clark pose with the animals, which, according to azfamily.com, are now in the care of the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center. Javelina are members of the peccary family, a group of hoofed mammals that are common in much of central and southern Arizona.
