LOGAN COUNTY, Colo. — Logan County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant John Dodson took this photo of Sterling, Colo. firefighters putting out a vehicle fire in Logan County.

The Sterling department is the only career department in northeastern Colorado, serving a population of 15,000 people.
