LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas firefighters found three people inside an abandoned building during a fire on Aug. 29, 2023.

Firefighters responded to the fire at approximately 6:30 p.m. at 300 East Charleston Boulevard near 3rd Street, KLAS reported.

The three people inside were rescued, treated for smoke inhalation and transported to a hospital.

Due to the building’s size and the amount of fire, a second alarm was dispatched. Clark County firefighters were also on the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
