AVON COUNTY, England — A Tinder date ended worse than anyone could have expected when firefighters had to rescue a woman from in between two window panes.

According to his GoFundMe campaign, Tinder user Liam Smith and his date went to his house after dinner to watch a documentary. Smith said his date used the restroom, and came back with a panicked look on her face.

“I went for a poo in your toilet,” the date said, “and it would not flush. I don’t know why I did this, but I panicked. I reached into the toilet bowl, wrapped it in tissue paper, and threw it out of the window”.

Smith said his bathroom window opens to another double-glazed window about a foot and a half from the first window. The woman tried to resolve the situation by climbing head first inside the window gap and became stuck.

Firefighters responded to the scene and removed the woman in 15 minutes by breaking the window.

The Avon Fire & Rescue Service, in South West, England, tweeted out a link to the man’s GoFundMe account simply stating “An eventful evening for Temple fire crews.”

Smith set up the account asking for donations to replace his broken window. Anything above the cost of the window, he plans to donate to a charity devoted to ensuring areas in the developing world have flushing toilets and a charity for firefighters.

“The guys who came to the house were brilliant, took everything in good humour, and profesional. This call out was pretty funny, but they do risk their lifes on a daily basis, and the firefighters charity provides financial, psychological and medical help to the brave men and women who risk their lives for us,” he wrote on GoFundMe.
