CUMBRIA, England — English firefighters were called to rescue a cow that had fallen 100 feet down an embankment and got stuck in a tree.
A farmer realized one of his shorthorn heifers was missing and found it stuck in a tree below a steep drop off of a quarry, according to BBC.
The, 11-month-old 660-pound cow was sedated by a vet and was rescued using safety slings.
Besides some soreness and bruising, the cow is reportedly in good health.
