Photo of the Week: Texas firefighters spell out safety message

Calling all fire photographers: FireRescue1 wants to see your pictures! The next time you come across something inspiring, take out the camera and submit it to FireRescue1! Just remember to include your name, agency information and brief background information on the picture.

In this week's Photo of the Week, firefighters from the El Paso (Texas) Fire Department's Station 29 sent out a "stay home" reminder in a way only firefighters can — by spelling it out with fire hose outside their apparatus bay.

The unique yellow script was captured in an overhead photo and posted to Twitter with the message, "You can drastically reduce the spread of #COVID19 by avoiding unnecessarily going outside. Don't put yourself and others at risk!"

First responders across the country have been using social media to spread the #StayHome message and asking their communities to "help us help you" by taking precautions during the pandemic.
