DETROIT — First responders’ efforts to save a man suffering from a heart attack were interrupted when a woman was fatally stabbed at the emergency scene.
First responders were at the home of a man who had suffered a heart attack, WDTN 2 News reported. While performing CPR on the man, another individual charged into the home and stabbed a 35-year-old woman in a different room.
Fire and EMS personnel heard a violent struggle and called for police assistance. When police arrived, they saw a man with a knife exit the house with blood on him.
Both the cardiac arrest victim and the woman who was stabbed died.
