YOCHA DEHE, Calif. — A Calif. firefighter firefighter had to call on his brothers and sisters when he discovered his home was burning Sunday afternoon.
Yocha Dehe Firefighter Joel Scott was at home with his daughter when he heard a crackling. When he went outside he saw that his roof was burning, according to the Daily Democrat.
Officials are investigating the fire, but suspect high winds may have carried embers onto the roof.
Damage to the home is estimated at $10 to $20,000. The roof suffered the most damage, but the family was still able to return home that evening.
