NEWMARKET, N.H. — A townhouse-style condominium in Newmarket’s Fieldstone Estates went up in flames around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday night, displacing the residents of the four units in the complex.

The local fire and rescue department reported no one was injured in the fire, but all apartments “sustained significant damage and are currently uninhabitable.”

The fire was coming through the roof of the building when emergency responders arrived.

Due to “limited” high-pressure water supply in the neighborhood, Newmarket Fire and Rescue said, they raised the incident to a three-alarm fire and called in neighboring departments through mutual aid agreements.

Firefighters from Newfields, Durham, Lee, Dover, Stratham, Exeter, Newington, Greenland, Hampton, Epping, Madbury, Barrington and East Kingston contained the fire before it spread to other buildings.
