X-rated photos next to fire truck bearing Albuquerque Fire Department’s logo may have already been distributed to 25,000 affiliates

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — X-rated photos next to a fire truck bearing the Albuquerque Fire Department’s logo created quite a stir last month, and now the website that posted the risqué pictures agreed to mask the logo.
A symbol of safety and protection for AFD wound up as the backdrop for a sex symbol last month. The AFD logo wasn’t removed when the fire truck was sold at auction.
“We were proactive. We stepped up and contacted the company that was responsible for those photos and we asked them to remove our logo and they in fact blurred it out,” AFD Chief James Breen said.
