EDINBURGH — A fed-up off-duty firefighter has become an Internet hit by throwing a fare-dodger off a train in Scotland.
Alan Pollock intervened during a lengthy confrontation between Sam Main, a 19-year-old student, and a conductor.
The incident was posted to YouTube and has already been viewed by more than 550,000 people since being uploaded Saturday.
In the clip, Pollock is seen leaping into action after Main refuses to get off when the conductor says he hasn’t paid a valid fare.
