SEATTLE — Firefighters freed a woman stuck inside a charity donation box Monday morning.
KIROtv.com reported that firefighters were called around 4 a.m. for a report of a woman trapped inside a 4-foot by 6-foot clothing donation box.
The 26-year-old woman told firefighters she crawled inside the box to gather clothes and was crawling out when her leg became stuck in the anti-theft mechanism.
The technical rescue team used several heavy tools to pry open the mechanism and release the woman’s leg, according to the report.
The woman declined to be treated.
