INDIA — A woman died and three people suffered burns after a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw caught fire after it was hit by a bus Monday.
The Daily Star reported that firefighters rushed to the scene, doused the flames and rescued four three-wheeler passengers with severe burn injuries.
The victims were taken to a hospital, where the woman later died, according to the report. The identity of the woman and those injured were not immediately released.
Police seized the bus, but the driver went into hiding.
