Corbett faces one count of trafficking a person under 18 for sexual servitude, two counts of aggravated rape of a child, two counts of rape of a child, three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child 14 or over.
Corbett is a member of the Boston Fire Department, the office confirmed. He earned $262,086.18 working with the department in 2024, city records show.
The assaults against a female child happened between May 2018 and September 2024, Assistant District Attorney Laura Montgomery told the courtroom.
Bail for Corbett was set at $25,000 by Judge John McDonald. He was also ordered to home confinement with GPS monitoring if he is released, to have no contact with children under the age of 16, and to surrender his passport and any firearms.
Corbett will return to court on Dec. 22 for a probable cause hearing.
“These are extremely disturbing allegations involving repeated sexual abuse of a young female victim. Our office will provide this young woman and her family all the support they need as the court process moves forward,” Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden said.
