Rescues at Chicago 2-alarm high-rise fire

CHICAGO — A 2-11 fire alarm was called Friday morning at a high-rise building on Foster Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

The fire broke out shortly before 8:20 a.m. at a building located at 1020 W. Foster Ave., where officials reported heavy fire on the 6th floor.
